　　Step 2：Let the students listen to the tape carefully with the following questions：
　　Why does Danny say they should do this experiment outside?
　　What'sBrian's theory?
　　What will Brian do ?(Brian will doanexperiment．)
　　Does Danny have the same theory as Brian's?(No．Brian has one theory and Danny has another．)
　　Step 3：Do the experiment described in the reading．
　　Have the items I have brought to class(the jar，cardboard and bowl of water)ready．Ask two volunteers to come up to my desk．One volunteer gives
　　instmcdons，in English，according to the text。The other volunteer follows the instructions．Then have the class discuss their observations by using what they have
　　learned in this unit．
