　　Ⅰ.考试性质
　　物理中考是全面、准确地反映初中毕业学生在物理学科学习目标方面所达到水平的重要环节。考试结果既是衡量学生是否达到毕业标准的主要依据，也是高中阶段学校招生的重要依据之一。因此，考试应有较高的信度、效度、必要的区分度和适当的难度。
　　Ⅱ.考试内容
　　物理学科考试以教育部制订的《全日制义务教育物理课程标准（实验稿）》规定的内容标准为考试范围，适当兼顾人教版《义务教育课程标准实验教科书 物理》教材的内容和教学实际情况。
　　物理试题着重考查考生知识、能力和科学素养，注重理论联系实际，注重科学技术和社会、经济发展的联系，注意物理知识在生产、生活等方面的广泛应用，以有利于高中学校选拔新生，并有利于激发考生学习科学的兴趣，培养实事求是的态度，形成正确的价值观，促进"知识与技能"、"过程与方法"、"情感态度与价值观"三维课程培养目标的实现。
